CryptoVault - Secure Online File & Document Storage


CryptoHeaven allows you to securely store documents and files on our Secure Data Center Servers.

Creating CryptoVault Data Folders

Open the Create New Folder dialog box by selecting New Folder from the Folders pop-up menu:

Alternatively:

  • select File->New Folder from the Main Menu, or
  • select from the Tool Bar, or
  • press Ctrl+N

Folders are by default created private and secure for your eyes only. However, you may selectively grant access to a folder to any of your trusted associates.

Uploading Files

Files uploaded to CryptoHeaven are transparently compressed and encrypted by the client software.

Upload files to your secure folders by any of the following:

  • drag & drop files onto the file folder, or
  • select File->Upload to Folder from the Main Menu, or
  • selectfrom the Tool Bar, or
  • press Ctrl+U

You may select multiple files or directories at once.

 

Sharing CryptoVault Data Folders

CryptoHeaven file folders are by default created private, secure and for your eyes only. However, you may selectively grant access to a folder to any of your trusted associates.

CryptoVault file folders are represented by the following two icons:

private file folder only you have access
shared file folder someone else may have access

Share permissions are set by selecting Folder Properties->Sharing from the folder pop-up menu.

You grant acces to the folder by clicking the Add button and you remove rights by clicking Remove. Read rights are given to all parties listed on the Sharing tab. Write and Delete rights can be assigned as needed.

To share a folder, click Share this folder and click the Add button, then select the Contacts you want to add. If required, set the Write and Delete privileges for each selected contact.
