File Upload Automation

CryptoHeaven file upload utility is written in Java and works on all platforms supported by CryptoHeaven. Please make sure you have a java runtime environment installed on your computer. You can check the JRE version by using the following command:

java -version

java version "1.4.1_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_01-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1_01-b01, mixed mode)

The minimum supported version is 1.3.1. If you don't have Java Runtime Environment installed, or if you have an older version, please downloaded a new one from here: http://www.javasoft.com.

The basic file upload command is as follows:

java -jar UploadFile.jar "User Name" "Password" 1234567 "File Name"

Where "User Name" is your CryptoHeaven login name, the "Password' is your CryptoHeaven password and 123457 is the folder ID where you want to upload the file.

To find out the folder ID, login to your CryptoHeaven account, right click on the folder, select "Properties." The folder ID number is listed on the first page.

Proxy Servers

Users connecting through a socks proxy need to specify the proxy server on the command line:

java -jar UploadFile.jar "User Name" "Password" 1234567 "File Name" "proxy:www.yourproxy.com:1080"

Advanced Options

Users running their own servers have the "server" option available:

java -jar UploadFile.jar "User Name" "Password" 1234567 "File Name" "server:www.yourcompany.com"

Exit Codes

UploadFile.jar returns exit codes. 0 (zero) exit code is returned if the file upload is successfull, and a negative number if the upload fails.
